Strictly following the national standards and power grid enterprise standards, we have completed the design, construction, commissioning, and linkage testing of the IG541 combined distributed fire extinguishing system. It has passed the fire safety acceptance, third-party testing, and Southern Power Grid safety rating certification in one go, meeting the safety requirements of A-level data centers, Level 3 protection, and power grid core computer rooms.
3.2 Ultimate Security Protection Objectives
Build a closed-loop protection system of “early detection rapid alarm precise linkage 10 second spraying total flooding fire extinguishing” for all critical protection areas such as the host room, UPS room, high-voltage distribution room, battery room, and network equipment area; Control the fire within 30 seconds and completely extinguish it within 60 seconds to prevent the spread of the fire; The system is non-conductive, corrosion-resistant, and residue free, avoiding secondary damage to equipment from the root and ensuring 100% security of core hardware and data assets in the power grid.

Using pure natural inert gas fire extinguishing agents, with zero ozone layer destruction, zero greenhouse effect, and no chemical decomposition products, the gas returns to the atmosphere after extinguishing without any pollution residue, which is in line with the “green grid, low-carbon operation” strategy of Southern Power Grid, meets the evaluation standards of green data centers, and helps achieve the “dual carbon” goal.

The system adopts high-voltage storage and combined distribution design, with a transmission distance of up to 150m, suitable for multi zone protection in large data centers; Equipped with manual/automatic switching, emergency start stop, real-time pressure monitoring, automatic fault alarm, remote linkage control functions, seamlessly integrated with machine room dynamic environment monitoring and power grid security platform; Gas cylinders are stored under normal pressure, with a long shelf life and low losses. The annual operation and maintenance costs are reduced by 30%, and the misoperation rate is 0. The annual reliable operation rate is ≥ 99.9%, reducing the pressure on power grid fire management.
